Overview
Scalemill (www.scalemill.com) helps technology companies increase revenue and reduce costs by setting up off-site inside sales, support and customer success teams that handle customer interactions. We exclusively work with B2B (Business-to-Business) SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) products and specialize in SaaS-trained SDRs who set up qualified meetings for product demos/pitches.
Role
As an HR Intern at Scalemill, you'll gain hands-on experience across core human resources functions, including recruitment, HR operations, employee documentation and attendance management. You'll work closely with the HR team to support day-to-day activities, coordinate with candidates and internal stakeholders and contribute to creating an organized and efficient HR department. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in human resources with the potential to grow into a permanent role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support
Assist in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding
Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and other hiring platforms
Manage and update candidate pipelines using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements
Coordinate with candidates throughout the recruitment process
Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers and interview panels
Manage assessments, interview feedback and recruitment documentation
Follow up with candidates and maintain regular communication throughout the hiring process
Assist in preparing offer letters and onboarding documents for selected candidates
Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience from initial screening to joining
- HR Operations & Documentation
Organize, maintain and update employee files and HR records
Conduct document audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Manage both physical and digital HR documentation
Support onboarding and other day-to-day HR administrative activities
- Attendance Management
Monitor employee attendance through internal systems and CCTV recordings
Maintain attendance records and assist in resolving attendance-related queries
Generate attendance reports and summaries as required
- Team Collaboration
Work closely with the HR team on daily operational activities
Coordinate with account managers, team leads and other departments whenever required
Provide administrative support for HR projects, employee engagement activities and other HR initiatives

Technology Experience Needed
Basic Technology: Comfortable using computers and common office software
Productivity Tools: Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive)
HR Tools: Familiarity with HRIS/ATS platforms is a plus
Documentation: Experience managing spreadsheets, documents and digital records
Communication Tools: Google Meet, Slack or similar collaboration tools
Background
Bachelor's degree (completed or currently enrolled) in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Docs
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Prior internship or HR-related experience is a plus but not mandatory
